My package is with Suitability. Background started in May 2020 and is waiting for final panel approval. Hoping 2021 is my year!

5/2019 applicant here. Did proctored testing shortly after, and finally got a virtual interview on 9/2020. After reaching out to hiring 11/2020 on results, I was told that I had passed and was recommended to move further, and that they were finishing up "OPM Certification" before they could move further. I was told that it would probably take a few weeks as there were some delays. Month later I reached out and they said they were still working on it with no timeline. Still haven't heard back. Anyone else experience this? And if so how long did it take for them to finish "OPM Certification?"

This is just a guess on my part because I’ve never gone through “OPM Certification,” at least to the point that I’ve never asked about it or been told that I was in it. I would imagine that how they process certain things will be slightly different now because of COVID though. I went through most all of the process awhile ago so I’m just waiting on the academy. Well guys, thank you for allowing me on this ride with everyone. 8/18 applicant and was on place with the group until medical. I had to get a review and fell behind at that point. I did eQip in May then went to suitability and received the letter today that I would not be selected. I was advised to contact HRRD on the factors that played a part in the decision. Yeah, I just contacted HRRD through the email/phone number on the job announcement. Their phone number goes straight to voicemail (I left a message just in case) and emailed them too. They usually respond within the next day.

Does the number 202-491-1214 look familiar to anyone? My scam blocker blocked 3 calls from there today, and with it being a DC area code I'm paranoid that I'm missing something important. I hope if it's anything related to this process that they would leave a message? I disabled my scam blocker for now.

I googled it. It is Neela Rathnasamy with GOVERNMENT OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES regarding Medicaid Expansion and Eligibility. That same number is also apparently associated with someone in Westminster, MD and Hackensack, NJ. It sounds like it probably wasn't related to this then. Negative, I finished my background and have not heard a thing. Anyone know if by now I should have received my preference sheets or will they call me out of the blue to offer location and academy date? Or am I just out??

So if you cleared hiring board you should get a preference sheet for the next class. I contacted them two weeks ago and as of then no class date has been set yet. I didn’t make this class or the last so still waiting. But for each class you will always get a new preference sheet if you are eligible for the class.
