I've reached out so I'm sure they will respond at some point. My guess is that they can afford to be picky and I didn't size up. Is what it is but the lack of detail is a bit frustrating.

It could be an explanation that is more fitting to be discussed one-on-one (even in an email), and you just got that generic "Dear John" email as the official notification. Just guessing here though. I've been waiting the same amount of time you have, so I can understand the overall frustration as well with waiting and then zero explanation.

I am not sure if they got their answer or not. I suspect it’s one of two things. Either like you said didn’t size up based on the rest of the pool or something came up in background for your suitability. Good luck and hope you get some closure or answers.

Good Morning,
I received an email late yesterday afternoon asking me for my references (again) in order to continue the "accelerated pre-employment check for an interim clearance". I think that's about the 3rd time I've sent them. LOL It's all good though. Got them sent off shortly after getting the email.
Y'all have a great day!

How long after receiving fingerprint email did it take for you to actually get fingerprinted? It's been 2 weeks for me and still nothing

I was offered to do my fingerprints and told that I could get them done any time during business hours. So, I picked a day and a time and the person told me that they would make sure that someone would be there to do my fingerprints.

Same here, but I guess that's hard to do now when these guys are doing video interviews.

My BI was started in March 2020, right as the shutdown began. I applied under the August 2018 announcement. They said this Preference Sheet is for DI Class#56. Can someone confirm that this is the class coming up this summer? I went back and looked at a few older posts, and I didn't see anything, but I did kinda rush through it.

@Prep: Cool. Did they only contact the list of references you provided, or go beyond that? Edited by user Thursday, April 8, 2021 6:12:05 AM(UTC)

The other 2 I listed have not said anything about being contacted, and I know them well enough that if they had been contacted, they would have told me.

Thanks for the congrats, y'all! I'm getting kinda nervous now. LOL But this is what I asked for and what I applied for, so...we'll see! I know this isn't a guarantee I'll get in the next class, but at least it's "the next step"! We'll see what happens!

Lol I remember they literally snatched me up and took me downstairs immediately when I got there to do the interview. Like "hey, first things first." LOL Then I'm trying to get the ink off my fingers while still trying to remember what I had studied for the interview. LOL I knew if they were fingerprinting me that they were serious about hiring me.
