Can anyone explain to me how the treasury's (SEC) SK pay scale work? I found the range, but it's obviously not like the GS scale which goes by steps. How does one go about getting salary increase annually?

SEC's SK pay scale is by steps now, and the steps are from 1-15. The SEC used to be on the merit system. They calculate your steps by your years of experience and specialized experience.
