Is there a limit to the income a CSRS retiree can earn after he or she retires from government and goes to work either part time or full time in the private sector? In this example, the retiree has not earned enough SSN credits to receive any SSN benefit and is only receiving his or her CSRS benefit.

There is no limit on earnings for CSRS retirees (I'm assuming it is non-disability). Depending on what your job was with the Feds and how far up you were, there may be restriction on what types of jobs you are permitted to do for certain time frames after your retirement. If in doubt, check with the Ethics Official of your former agency. A list is at https://www.oge.gov/Web/....nsf/Resources/DAEO+List .
