What's the best options for a TSP after retirement.

depends on many factors.

how much you have in tsp

how much you need if your pension does not cover your expenses

wife and I retire in late 2009 and have not touched tsp as of today.
it just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

If you want safety with a little growth go with the L Income fund. The G fund sounds the safest, but when it returns less than the inflation rate you are actually losing money. More risk and more potential for growth would be to select the L fund that corresponds with your age 80. For me that would be L-2040. I figure that by age 80 I may not have enough time to recover from a stock market crash. With my TSP converting to L Income in 2040 I will be largely protected from stock market drops.
