I heard that some employees were now getting Saturday Premium Pay. I have been getting Sunday premium pay since my regular schedule is working thru the weekend. I noticed on the new VATAS payroll system there is a box to check for Saturday premium pay. My box is not checked. And I cant find any info online about it...except some old union notices about an ongoing case. Does anyone have any info on this new premium pay...or is it just a rumor.

Are you a Postal employee or an Executive Branch employee? The rules regarding various kinds of "pays" tend to be different in the Postal Service than in the Executive Branch and you did not identify your Federal employer.

And DVA has some quirky pay rules, etc., not found elsewhere in the Executive Branch.

I would post this one in the VA section under Organizations, agencies and military. Someone who regularly follows that particular forum might also be a VA HR specialist or someone who knows a bit more about this subject.
