I highly doubt I will make it in time for the March class so I’m hoping for the next one after that.

Ranger-

I think most of us 2016 applicants are in the same general spot/step as you are. Just waiting on the background to clear..

Any word from the 2016 peeps?

I called and they said my case is with suitability but I don't know what that means. No word on anything since I filled out the eQUIP in October.

Nothing on my end but a 2016 applicant said they received an FOE on the other board. That adds a little more optimism for us 2016 applicants making the upcoming class.

The SF 86 is for your BI or updating information for your BI

AGVT23,

I received a SF86C yesterday as well. I did my e-quip in September and my BI was in October (interview and reference checks). Crickets until yesterday. I’m a 2016 candidate.

Good a good chuckle from my HR rep today. I called to get the status of my case and he told me that it's sitting with OPM and that whatever agency I'm working for needs to do my reinvestigation first as I am overdue.

The he asked what agency I worked for.

I replied that I'm a Background Investigator with OPM.

We both laughed.

Hey ya'll,

Sounds like I am in the same spot as many of you, although I am optimistic because I see some people keep getting their SF86C's. I still have not heard from or met with my BI investigator, and when I called my HR Rep he just said that everything was sent to suitability. I did have a delay with my medical clearance, but when he looked at it I was medically cleared in Oct.

I'm also kind of concerned because I moved, and moved in with my gf/ soon-to-be fiance (shhh she doesn't know that) so I'm wondering where that puts my BI.

Good luck all!

Any 2016 applicants have any positive movement lately? Everyone still waiting on their clearances to push through?

Nothing here. In fact my HR person won't call me back... so that's concerning. Other than that the last I heard was that my packet got advanced to "suitability".
