Sounds like we'll be there at the same time specialops. The class start date I was given is April 26th which I thought was a little weird since it's a Wednesday but I'm not complaining, lol.

Hello everyone and congrats on the start dates. Just curious which round of applications you're all in, and for which locations? I applied for 2 in the northeast (Fort Drum, NY and Burlington, VT) way back in December and was "Referred" about 6 weeks later. But, I haven't heard a peep yet. Judging from some older posts, I'm not too worried. Sounds like some vacancies follow the "standard" timeframes and others can be lagged with a sudden response and call to action. Any details on your experience may be helpful-- thanks!

I too am heading to Slippery Rock on the 25th...start date is the 17th as well. I am very excited.

To answer Northcountry...Closing date was 6 December on USA Jobs...referred 5 January...interviewed 13 January...Tentative job offer 30 January...E-qip submission, drug testing, and finger printing was done that week...then final job offer with a start date of 17 April was on 9 March. My location is in Kingsville, Texas out of the Houston Field Office. I know they put a rush on the hiring for Kingsville, as the backlog is long...this is a new position for Kingsville, TX.

Thanks!! Yes, I imagine that there's more of a push to get things going closer to the southern border where there's probably more personnel needed, getting their BI's done.

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum. I applied in January, was referred in February, and interviewed in March. This coming Monday will be 30 days since my interview and I haven't heard anything yet. Has anyone gone that long without hearing anything after an interview, and been given a conditional offer of employment?

Thanks for restoring my hope. I've seen other forums about the OPM Investigator hiring process where people have said they were contacted within a week after their interviews, but those were posts from years ago before the NBIB was formed.
