Good luck.

IM if you have any questions..
*DISCLAIMER*Correctly filling out your security forms will not guarantee you a clearance in 3 months BUT be sloppy and your case will be in the field a heck of a lot longer, guaranteed.

As a general rule if you don't hear something in 30 to 60 days after interview forget about it and march on. There is always an exception to the rule, but best if you move on.

I applied in April for NYC and got my final letter with start date on Tuesday the 14th. So you should be hearing something soon.

Fed is correct... and yet some of us do well (and even love the job overall).

like my military career, one day I will wake up and say "I am tired of this" and leave this profession. I am not there yet.

I don't mean to sound negative about this career field. I try to ensure you know what you are getting into before you get here. If I tell you everything good/bad about this job and you still want to give it a shot - then welcome to the team. If you decide this is not what you wanted or expected, then thank you for your time and I hope you leave with an appreciation why all BIs are not completed in one or two weeks.

IM me once you get out of NTC and we can talk about work and how give yourself a chance to succeed.

Referral emails for that mass announcement are out. Just got mine, referred to almost all of them with the exception of 3.

Congrats to you two for getting referred. I unfortunately was not. I don't know why but I've been referred every other time I applied for openings. All that waiting and constant checking seems insignificant now ha. Best of luck to you!

4 PA locations and Binghamton, NY. Did they give you a score on your referral letter?

So after dissecting my application I realized I did not answer one of the eligibility questions correctly. Just like that, not qualified! Better luck next time and best of luck for everybody who did get referred. Keep us posted on if you get contacted for an interview.
