Social Security Administration

The Social Security Administration (SSA) is an independent agency of the United States federal government that administers Social Security, a social insurance program consisting of retirement, disability, and survivors' benefits. To qualify for these benefits, most American workers pay Social Security taxes on their earnings; future benefits are based on the employees' contributions. (Source: Wikipedia)

I applied for the Criminal Investigator for OIG in Dallas. Any current SA have any insight on what to expect next. Do you do any time of testing? Is the interview one on one or in a group setting? What was your timeline?

I currently work for SSA as Claims Specialist at a GS-09. I have a BA in Criminal Justice and Master's in Criminology. I have worked at SSA for about 3 years. Started as a Service Rep then moved to CS in SSI. I have work experience in Immigration, TSA, banking and over 10 years of customer service. I know it's a long shot but doesn't hurt to apply.
