I just made my pre-employment medical examination appointment for July 10th. I wonder if having done a similar test for another agency recently would work.

Probably not. However, I would bring whatever paperwork or results you may have. Docs might want to have a look.

Did it show up in your onboarding tasks or did you get a call for it? Just curious because just did onboarding paperwork yesterday but no tasks were listed yet.

Did the onboarding paperwork come by U.S. mail? I haven't received mine yet. My HR person told me she was sending paperwork out Tuesday and I assumed it was by U.S. mail and not email.

No it comes via email invitation to their onboarding system online. Once you get in it there are questions/paperwork you have to complete.

My guess is it is just based on when your HR rep sends it out. Sounds like we have different ones as mine is a "he".

For my Onboarding paperwork, I first received a call for the tentative offer and once I accepted they verified information and e-mailed me the link to set up the onboarding site. Then I filled everything out on there and successfully submitted it all. A couple days later I received the email to schedule my pre-employment medical. The place I have to go only does Tuesday's and the woman who was scheduling me doesn't work on Tuesdays and was unsure if the doctor takes more than one per day so they scheduled me for the next Tuesday that had a full day opening... July 10th! So close, yet so far! She almost penciled me in for June 19th. Has anyone else scheduled the medical exam?

I suspect mine will be coming early next week then. I submitted mine (onboarding paperwork) yesterday morning.

It’s coming, don’t worry luckydevil! Things seem to be moving fairly quickly, for now, which is great. I’m hoping my background check is closer to the 12 month timeframe than the 24 month timeframe.

Ditto on the background! I am a prior fed so I hope that helps.

I’m a current fed but my current agency only needed a public trust clearance.

Ah ok. I had a TS but it has been 3 years since my renewal was due. Still hoping it helps speed the process.

How long did your first TS take?
