VA (Department of Veterans Affairs)

The United States has the most comprehensive system of assistance for veterans of any nation in the world. This benefits system traces its roots back to 1636, when the Pilgrims of Plymouth Colony were at war with the Pequot Indians. The Pilgrims passed a law which stated that disabled soldiers would be supported by the colony. The establishment of the Veterans Administration came in 1930 when Congress authorized the President to "consolidate and coordinate Government activities affecting war veterans."

This forum also includes the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).

Perhaps you are working for the VA or interested in working for the VA. Here is a forum to share your experience with the VA.

I've searched all over the place and can't seem to find the VA eOPF website. My wife needs to download her most recent SF-50 but I only have the Army and Air Force eOPF sites.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

If she's a current employee, it is most likely inside the HR page on the VA intranet - http://vaww.va.gov/ - http://vaww1.va.gov/ohrm.../HRLibrary/HRLibrary.htm

Otherwise, if you're doing work for her and she's not a current employee, then reach out to the sub-agency HR POC. Since VA is really 3 agencies within an agency, just start at the HR rep for her group - https://www.va.gov/OHRM/...rvicing-HR-Providers.pdf

Yeah she's no longer an employee. Trying to get her Reinstatement 50 so she can apply for a few jobs at my agency.

Former employees can obtain copies of Form 50's by writing the St. Louis Archives: Former employee files

There's no specific SF-50 to provide proof of reinstatement eligibility. What she needs is one that shows Tenure Codes 1 or 2. Her last SF-50 from the Agency should be included. If you have one that shows Conversion to Career, that will work, too.
