I am down in the DC area, heard a radio ad for a company hiring IT types for government work and they even said they were willing to sponsor security clearances. That's pretty unusual in my experience.

I don't want to mention the name (dont want to give them free advertising) but if you PM me I'll tell you the name of the company. They are located in Reston VA but they probably have people placed all over the national capitol region.

This could be a way to get a clearance, or get one reactivated. And just to be clear, this is for a contractor company, not federal employment.
