WARNING:

It appears “VAer’s” inquires about how to change account email address are fraudulent, and were done to hack into a FedSoup members account, which then enabled them to hack into their entire email.

Ijust discovered this happened to me and notified authorities.

Not hacking. I just registered with an email address which is not really used now. I do have multiple email addresses.

However, I sent email to forum administrator from my current account email address directly.

Most forums allow users to change email address in profile setting.

WARNING:

This is what VAer appears to have done:

1). He already had the email address of a member but not their password.

2). He then changed the email address on his account to that of the members, and breached/accessed the members account.

3). After he did this, each time the member made a post, they began to receive two identical email notifications about responses to each post. This just started happening about the same time VAer asked about how to change the email address on his account.

4). VAer was then able illegally access the members entire email account.

I don't know who you are and why you keep making this kind of baseless ridiculous post.

I registered VAer with email xxxx@gmail.com, then I sent an email to forum administrator directly from xxxx@gmail.com account, and in the email I provided current account email address and new email address I would like to use.

What is wrong with that? So what is reasonable process in your mind in order to change forum email address? Should I provide a copy of SSN and utility bill to prove my identity?????

I do not know what is worth to hack a forum account. It is not a bank account.

The accusation is so laughable.

I am just saying that it is very reasonable for an user to change account email in most other forums. It is just like changing your bank account contact email, all you need to do is loggin into the account account and enter new email, then system sends a verification message to the new email address and you verify the new email address.

Would you mind telling me how to request changing account email in order not to be suspected of hacking an account?

Or you may simply answer: this forum does not allow to change account email address.

I merely ask a simple question, no ideas why you come up with all of these points. Your posts may me look like a bad guy here.

When a system changes email address, then system should quit sending notification to old email address. How come have "two identical email notifications"????

When I posted an update on 1/15/2017, I have already given up, I just posted an update to thank @Exit7A who searches information and provided information. I think it is not worth to spend more time on a forum email address, which is not important in my life. But suddenly, your replied post sounds so ridiculous to me.
