All, I applied for a FMA position that closed Nov 2017. Has anyone else applied? Has any progress been made? Interviews? Thanks to all in advance.

Have you contacted the HR point of contact listed in the vacancy announcement to obtain a status? Five months seems like a long time between a closing date and interviews. That said, I know of one FDIC vacancy that closed at the end of December and the interviews are just now occurring. If you are truly interested and still haven't heard anything, I recommend contacting the HR point of contact listed in the vacancy announcement.

Well, my status recently changed to reviewed in usajobs. That's what made me ask here. The HR person never got back to me. I will try again.

I have seen situations where jobs had already been filled but the USA Jobs status still reflected only that the application had been received. I think it would be highly unusual for a job vacancy that closed in November to not have certificates of eligible candidates to the hiring manager by April (at least at the FDIC). I don't think it could hurt to contact the HR specialist again.
