Mike Pompeo has been confirmed as the next Secretary of State.
Does this put an end to the rather ill-defined "Redesign?"
Pompeo may not want to fill every last vacancy but he should move to fill at least some key openings in short order.
And will he defend the department against big cuts in its budget?
