Was the flight booked for you, or do you purchase and then get reimbursed?

I can only speak to what I experienced, but my FO reached out to me and set-up everything.

Thank you! I am just debating how long to wait before I contact someone. If I don't hear something by a week out I'll get in touch with my local FO.
P1: 8/15
P2: 8/15 - 01/16 (pass)
Re-applied in 2018

Anyone on the east coast think we'll get more phase 3 interviews outside of NY and DC?

I'd assume that they're over if we're already seeing interviews scheduled for Phoenix. I was expecting Atlanta to have made an appearance by now. Has Boston hosted P3 this cycle?

I called my local field office today to reach out about travel arrangements as interviews are next week and I haven't heard anything yet. The local FO said they hadn't heard anything yet and told me to call the Phoenix office...who told me they weren't my local FO and wouldn't have received the email. My local office called me a little while to later to apologize for not having the email and said that the person who needed to be contacted at HQ was out for the day.
So for those who are interviewing next week and haven't heard anything about travel arrangements, I advise you to reach out to your local office to at least touch base.

Somebody (2 pages back) said they reached out and were told interviews would run from May-Sept. I can’t believe they would only interview in 3 cities and be done. Wouldn’t it make sense to swing back to the east coast and continue interviews? Not everybody from the Phoenix group (DC and NY too) will pass phase 3, accept the CJO, and pass the background. I hope to god they aren’t done yet.

My comment was with respect to the East Coast. Of course, P3 interviews are continuing in other cities elsewhere as the cycle shifts to the West Coast. That's why you'll often see that West Coast applications take the longest to complete despite starting at the same time as their East Coast counterparts.

You're welcome to review previous cycle threads to see if P3 interviews moved back to the East Coast; however, I don't recall this being the case.

That's true, but remember, not everyone who passed P2 in DC/NYC moved onward to P3. Understandably, there are only a certain number of slots and I would imagine that these are initially earmarked for the most competitive candidates. I was fortunate and received an invite and found an available time-slot from the very few that remained open.

I think that someone mentioned in a previous cycle thread that they missed P3 interviews for their closest city and were contacted about travelling to another city. This would need fact-checking, of course.

We only see a fraction of the total number of applicants on these forum boards, so it's difficult to get good data on where people are in the application process. Judging by previous posters, we seem to be shifting to Phoenix as the current P3 locale while there are others from the East Coast that are now moving into BI.

Does this mean that the East Coast is officially wrapped up? Not necessarily, but that's my best guess at this point - though, as I've explained above, I could be incorrect.

I'm already done.

It was exactly what I expected, but I wasn't as eloquent as I wanted to be. I'm not expecting a CJO, but I'm happy I was able to even make it this far. :)

How did P3 go for you?

Also, your avatar name is very apt concerning this hiring process!

Anyone else from Boston in the same boat? I hope that you hear something soon!

I wrapped up mine this morning and I’m in the same boat. I feel like I did well, followed the directions, and made a good impression, but we’ll see — I’m not getting my hopes up just yet. Fortunately, the turnaround is far quicker than P2.

Best of luck to the rest of those waiting on their results and to those still looking to schedule their P3!

Haha thanks, I thought so too! P3, what can I say... I think I feel like everyone else. I guess I wish I knew what they were really basing the ultimate decision on and I might feel a bit better. But for now, as my avatar name states... It's unfortunately the hard part. I may go crazy before I find out the results

Yep, same. Just took it this afternoon, now have to wait lol. Was curious if there was anyone there that also posts on here, but looks like I was the only one here who had a 2:30 slot today. Got to talk to a couple other candidates, though, so that was cool. It was nice to see that we're a relatively diverse group--they aren't kidding when they say they want people from all kinds of backgrounds.
