Has anyone else revieved feedback on PII? I wasn't expecting anyone to hear anything until after the New Year.

Guess that means I'll be checking my status everyday at 1am now......

Nothing yet but it seems like if you took it in December, you should have your results 3 weeks later. No need to stalk your inbox until the week of lol.

Not me. But I didn't take Phase 2 until 12/15. I'm nervous now though. I want out of my current job so bad. I really hope this or the DEA Diversion Investigator position pans out for me. They seem to be right along the same timeline so far.

I'm like you all in that I wish this would pan out for me, but for a different reason. I love the org I'm in right now. The people are awesome. But my job is a dead end job with no room for growth (there's no career path in this org for what I do). Since I finished my degree last Dec I've been looking for a new career path. I know what I want to do (IA). I know where I want to do it (FBI), but I also know I may not be able to get in the door.

So, I have 7 or 8 applications out there in different places. Options are good. Now I wait for something to happen and, since this is the only one I really care about, I keep re-applying, stalking the forums, and reading stuff about the FBI and the job. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Anyway, thanks for listening to me ramble. I wish you all the best of luck in everything you do!

No, but I'm increasingly thinking that I should. Because I had to move the keyboard up to the actual table area, I had very little surface area left for the printouts, so I was constantly shuffling around those papers to uncover the keyboard after reviewing them. That process definitely cost me time throughout the test and all I really needed was a few more minutes to finish the test properly.

I assume I would complain using the official IASP email address?

At the very least I would like the sub-standard testing environment to be factored in as having caused unnecessary time delays. I'm not sure if they would let me re-test because that might open the door for people to complain about testing environment as a way to retake the test without having to wait a year.

I couldn't agree more, IanD.

I assume that the shutdown will delay the results. Whether the assessment is done by an employee or contractor I would think that they've been furloughed :(

Maybe not. It would depend on if IAs are considered essential personnel. A govt shutdown doesn’t actually shut down the whole govt. And since IAs are reading/screening phase 2, the furlough may not be a consideration. Also depends on if their appropriation has already been approved.

I wish everyone continued success as well.

Unfortunately this is the end for me. Like some others on the forums I tested the first week in Dec and had problems with the test. The test administrator said she'd submit an incident report about the problems, and I also sent an email to the "contact us" email on the hiring site, but in the end it didn't matter. I was notified today that I failed P2. I am not surprised at the outcome but that doesn't make it any easier.

Take care all, keep the faith!

I'm sorry to hear this. Best of luck! I'm still waiting to hear about mine. But I didn't take P2 until 12.15.

That's a tough break; sorry about the news. It seems like P2 is knocking a lot of folks out right now.

Do you plan on applying to other Agencies or are you going in another direction?

Best luck!

I'm going to give myself today to wallow in discouragement...ok, maybe just a little wallowing while I have a bowl of icecream...then I'm going to go to the gym, clear my head, evaluate where I'm at, what my options are, and what I need to do next.

I've gotten rejected for analysis positions from pretty much every place that's ever hired an analyst...maybe I need to try to convince myself that it's not going to happen and pick a different direction.

I guess the short answer is I haven't decided where I'm going from here. It's on my to-do list though.

Good afternoon all. I reapplied for the IA position in September and was notified on 12/10 that I qualified for the Phase 2 interview again. But since then I haven't heard anything. Anyone else waiting for an invite to the interview? Thanks!

Are you talking about the SA process? P2 for the IA's isn't an interview; that's our P3.

What does your PAN show you? I had to run through the Accommodation's tab before the schedule opened up for me.

I'm talking about IA, but I went back and looked and saw that it was actually P2 that I'm pending for, but I've already passed that portion. Maybe it's like that until those that are taking P2 have completed it, then I'll be notified about doing the interview again?
