I meet all the requirements...Masters Degree, TS/SCI, physically able, telecom experience and military experience, fluent in a foreign language.

Is there a waiver for age? Im approaching 39.

Also, i am currently a GS12 with 11 years of federal service. Once DEA basic is complete, would i retain my GS12 and step or do i have to start at a baseline with everyone else?

TIA.

The only waiver for an SA is if 1 - you are a veteran and can thus buyback your time or 2 - you are already 1811 qualified.

On a related matter, they're probably one of the toughest program to get into as an SA. As you noticed, they don't advertise on USAJobs and the few postings that I have seen always require you to have been through CITP already. (ie poaching off of other agencies)
