New pay period starts today 9/17 (yesterday 9/16 technically). PP runs through next Saturday 9/29. Depending on your agency and the bank that gets your pay, you could have access to your money anywhere from the following Friday (10/5), to the end of the following week (10/12). Clear as mud?

Saw in another forum that your job is with SSA. Their "official" pay day is ten days after the end of a pay period, which would be a Tuesday. However, with direct deposit, the payment is actually made on the Friday following the end of the pay period, so you should see it in your bank on the 5th.
