Not receiving a fully successful rating.

They really don’t need a reason in the training year.

But very few of any get canned. A lot of people quit.

Not quite sure what's going on with my application/status. Interviewed for Greensboro, N.C. back in March (applied last October). All went very well with the interview but haven't heard anything. Now I'm getting multiple emails as if I just applied..."you are best qualified and have been referred to the selecting official." What gives?

The same thing is happening for me. The hiring did not go as well as anticipated for the first wave. In the West (California), few people were hire externally. Lack of OJI's, Delays from shutdown, lack of quality applicants, lack of interested applicants for POD's, etc. There is still active hiring going on and e-mails such as yours confirm it. The offers will likely go out up until three weeks before reporting time to the POD's. And even then, I don't think some POD's will have a full contingent of externals. There may be another hiring program in the next year or two.

People in the first wave may have quit, not passed the initial tax check, or livescan. Or there are Pathways people being hired. Anything can happen. This hiring project was difficult and problematic, more than usual.

If you weren't hired in the first wave, you will be referred again for the second wave. In fact, you will have to interview again if it's for a different POD. Interviewing is at the discretion of the hiring manager doing the interviews. Good luck!

Yes, many PODS are still hiring. Some PODS from the first wave didn't hit their hiring goals so they are hiring in the second wave too. Chances are if you interviewed in the first wave and didn't get hired, you will have to interview again. Interviewing is at the discretion of the hiring manager.

This is not a job for everyone. And there’s nothing wrong with having an honest conversation with yourself and realizing that.

You have to be able to do things to people that really have a large impact on peoples lives, and not everyone has the stomach for it.

It’s also dangerous. People are nuts. You’re out by yourself, without so much as a can of pepper spray to defend yourself.

Some it’s the perfect job for me. I’m more nuts than most of the nuts.

And rarely if ever has it ever bothered to me to levy, seize, summons or make a third party contact to an ex-wife to find a person.

For all you new hires remember this.

This is America. We are a nation of citizens not subjects.

Every time you take an enforcement action; you are depriving a citizen of their rights to their property or their money or other meaningful things.

That is a big responsibility and shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Still haven't received my results yet. I took the exam on April 23 and not even a rating. I emailed hr and they told me this is a 12 month roster that closes next month.

So I have to wait until the announcement closes?

For those of us beginning our EOD of August 19, when we will be able to enroll and begin receiving healthcare coverage? Is it immediately?

I have always received ratings quite promptly, this posting included. Within weeks of completing the assessment. Without rank, how can they determine who to interview or move forward in the process? I would inquire with HR again. Good luck!

The JOA usually shows the cut off date that they are looking at....

When did you take the exam? I just emailed them again. I already know i'm out of the running for this announcement because it's simply just to late. I read a few posts ago that someone took the exam around April( same time as me), and were already interviewed.

I literally just want my results because you can only take the exam once a year.

Then why would they send me an invitation to take the exam then? Received email for exam on April 16. Completed exam on April 23. April 30 was the deadline to complete the exam.

It took me, and most of the people that were invited to take the assessment in late February with the second round, about 3 months to get our ratings back, if I recall.
