Does anyone know if there will be another round of hiring? I interviewed in April and haven't heard anything since.

Has anyone that accepted their offer heard anything on their training location? I know we go to our first phase of training July 16 - August 8. I haven’t heard anything official yet.

The training locations haven't been disseminated internally yet. I would suspect they won't be known until the new hires report in.

For those of you that received FO’s, did you have 2-3 references listed on USA Jobs when you applied, or did the hiring managers ask for references?

Yes, me ... Did receive the TO, accepted it like 3 weeks ago ... and yet didn't receive the FO ... my future manager sent me an email saying that the prints still not cleared yet but once it does, I should receive my FO with 08/19 as starting date.

Crossing fingers ...

I am so excited, I got selected for the RA pathway position. I am sure that it has been said here multiple times, but what is the starting date again? Also Onboarding is empty, how long till I see the TO? Any inside will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Congrats to all who got selected!
The start date for Pathaway candidates and all regular Wave 1 Candidates who did not clear their fingerprinting by last week is August 19.

Is the term selected and TO interchangeable? How long did you have to wait before the onboarding forms were visible on career connector.

I’d probably guess they want at least the naturalization certificate- however the passport should be enough. So bring that at least.

Hello all, I have a general question. Thanks for any input everyone. Here it go.

If I am going thru a background check/ security clearance and one of the question ask about me been fired within a 10 year employment history. I was fired before at Walmart when I was 18 because I felt like I was been over work and I took a 15 minutes break. Will this hurt me from getting the job.. I am only asking a general questions. Thanks again

If it's within the period they ask you for (which on E-QIP I think is seven years), you answer truthfully, regardless. What you described is pretty mild, especially if you were 18 at the time. Who hasn't been 18??? They know things happen. If they discover it, even if it's minor, and you knew about it and didn't disclose it, that would be bad.

It may prompt a follow up question if it gets to an investigator, but since it's just a background check and not an investigation for a security clearance, you'll probably be okay as long as you disclose it up front.

I actually got an email stating that “ you put another country as a country of birth , blah blah blah, so please send us your proof of US citizenship to this email...”

Not a problem, scanned my US Passport and Naturalization certificate.

But on the e-Qip , they asked about the my non-US passport , which expired at least 10 years ago, number, expiration date, etc..... had to dig up that thing... thankfully did not dispose of it yet...

Like a first day at any new job, there is a lot of paperwork and training videos and various information, that while important, is kind of dull.

The best part of my day today was just talking with my OJIs and manager about what their jobs are like and some of the experiences they have had. They seem like decent people and I definitely got the feeling that they want me to succeed and do well. And they are going to be very important in my training over the next year plus.

Maybe some of you can shine some light on the matter. My status and a few other pathway candidates have had our status updated to selected, but we have not received an email regarding the TO. We have access to the onboarding link, it's just not showing any info under tasks/forms. This has not changed since 6/20 and I am starting to worry that our acceptance grace period might be in jeopardy. Is this common? Has anyone experienced this issue during your onboarding process? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
