I filled out those forms right before my interview so I guess each office does it differently. I've tried emailing intel.hire@usdoj once a week but still get no reply. Frustrating.

Emailed the Group Supervisor who was on my interview panel last month and she said that everything is in the hands of HQ and it would likely be a few months before we hear anything further.

Received a tentative offer by email yesterday and accepted. Also going to be mailed further paperwork to file. This process seems to be moving quickly I feel. I already have the proper clearance in my current position so that should go fairly quickly I think. Anyone else had any type of movement?

Yes, I received a COE around the same time. Things appear to be moving at a good pace since then.

I'm on a similar timeline of events as you, and was informed last week by my HR contact that the office in charge of coordinating the background investigations is averaging a back-up of about two months. I am also hoping my existing clearance is able to help in the length of the process.

I received the same email hoping maybe this week we get scheduled for a drug screening. The next class is scheduled for September as of now.

Thanks for sharing about the September class! Did you learn that from HR?

I also received the email about back log up to 2 months, holding out hope that the drug test comes soon! It would be a shame if the good momentum stopped right as September is fast approaching.

Hey everyone,

I did not apply to this specific job announcement. I applied to the one before that F-NC-18-2029397-MP that closed on 06-01-18. But I wanted to share my timeline anyway since we're all pretty much in the same situation.

Applied 06-01-18
Interview 08-14-18
Tentative Selection (CJO) 09-20-18
Initiate Pre-Employment Phase 10-03-18
Drug Test 10-17-18
EQUIP submitted 11-04-18
Met with investigator 01-10-18
Polygraph 05-20-19

I got anxious after my polygraph and I e-mailed HR and they told me that I will not be notified if I pass my poly. I will only be notified if I fail. Well, I haven't heard anything since I took my polygraph so I am assuming that I passed since it's been 6 weeks. OPM is still doing my background investigation so it's hard to tell how much longer that will be. HR told me the backgrounds usually take 3-18 months.

Good luck to everyone!

I was formerly Vlad73 but forgot my login and can't get it back due to persistent forum problems. I was told a few months ago I failed the interview. Just an FYI because someone here tried to message my former ID.
