im going to assume the posting will go up next week, post thanksgiving holiday. Do you know how long the application period is going to be up for? Im curious if it'll be a few days type thing or a week-long period.

Ive been watching usajobs everyday and ready to apply to get this thing started.

Surprised this has not posted yet. I was expecting it Monday. But last year it came out about 2 weeks late.

I have no idea. I was told around the beginning of November that the upcoming public announcement will be open longer than the previous norm of 2-3 days, so being right on top of it when it opens may not matter as much as it did in the past.

No I won’t. He won’t respond to you anyway.

HCO=human capital office. He’s the head guy incharge I’d hire CI the last go round.

Jonny - Just be patient. And get mighty used to being patient.

I've found it's best to have the "if it's meant to be, it'll happen" mindset. You'll drive yourself nuts worrying about assessment results, timing, interviews, etc. Plenty of life will go on between the time you apply and when you will (or won't) receive an offer. Those of us who applied last November are just now reporting to our FOs/FLETC. So it's definitely a long process. Good Luck!

Any news? I haven't seen any postings on USAJobs yet; I wonder if the budget issues are affecting the posting date.

There’s still issues to sort with the current offers, and the impending threat of shut down throws everything in disarray. Set up an alert for 1811 on USA jobs and treat every day you wait as an extra day to get prepped for this job.

This is accurate. I'm a CET and I received an internal email on Friday regarding the CI Special Agent job announcements posting to USAJOBS on 2/11/19. Can anyone tell me if this position requires a 4 year college degree? I have 3 year IRS, 2 years accounting degree and 4 years military (USMC).

Thanks in advance,
dpbtax45
