Has anyone received clear instructions on how to log into the new search portal? It seems that the unified search web got updated. I couldn't sign in!

Yes. It seems that they launched the new applicant portal, though no login instructions were given.

Yup, old site is back - I guess they were testing something or made the new portal public by accident.

yeah. I'm sure the recruiters are hyped for a new portal -- when I interviewed all interviewers I had complained about how peoplesoft had shortcomings. Hopefully we’ll see something in a few weeks?

Hopefully! Peoplesoft definitely feels klunky at times.

Though it doesn't seem to be different(at least for me). My application hasn't changed. It simply says "submitted."

I don't think anything should've changed yet, since we're still on the old portal.

Did you already get contacted by a recruiter?

I am not sure what do you mean exactly, but I was contacted by a recruiter in early 2017. I met with a BI back in June. I receive updates via email or phone that I am still in process. I did receive an automated email concerning the new candidate portal.

Ah, alright, that's what I was wondering. I'm nowhere near that far into the process, but I was afraid that the status thing wasn't always working. Hopefully the new site is better with that.

I went back and checked the email I got. I got an email in early December saying the new site would be active by the end of December.

Hopefully the new portal will have some greater insight as to where everyone is in the process. My gut tells me that it will say something like “actively processing”. Regardless, hope the new site is up soon.

I hope so. My status hasn't changed since 1/2018. It simply says "submitted." It seems that this agency didn't keep their applicants updated. My BI concluded n June of 2018.

Nothing on my end either, and Peoplesoft is still up. It is just after new years though, so I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't going to come for another couple weeks at least.

The NSA's Peoplesoft portal isn't kept up to date at the individual applicant level. I have applications from last year that still say "submitted", as well as a role that I was interviewed and rejected for.

As a former Peoplesoft admin I can tell you everyone who gets involved with Peoplesoft, from the people who sell it to the people who use it, hate it.
