I'm in a similar boat as you but with another federal organization instead. My current background investigation is only for a lower level. I reached out to NSA HR and they told me that only 1 can be going at a time. They told me to submit my e-QIP for NSA and their security team will hold it. They will let my other background investigation to be completed and start the NSA one after. In the meantime, they will hold my CJO until my NSA TS/SCI started. I heard that NSA likes to do their own TS/SCI instead, so they might adjudicate or polygraph again after your other TS/SCI is done. Best if you reach out to your HR and ask them. I hope that helps! My timeline is: 9/19 - Applied Online (STEM Position) 10/19 - Interview Submitted via HireVue 10/19 - CJO 11/19 - e-QIP Submitted

Y 12/19 - Notified that clearance has been granted and FJO to come shortly Damn, that's a nice timeline. Mind telling us the role? You’re timeline almost exactly mirrored mine. I received the clearance email on Wednesday, and was told I should have my FJO very soon. Here is to hoping for an early Christmas gift. Congrats btw!

Did you take your poly and not have psych assessment? Others posts always link those together. I had my poly not invited for psych. Not sure what’s next.

So I was told by recruiter that I was fully cleared and should be getting my FJO “soon”. That was last Thursday... when do y’all think I should reach back out for an update?

She estimated I will have the paperwork by mid-January. I think if you have a decent relationship with your recruiter, you can ask, but I wouldn't worry too much. Everything just moves slow.

Hey everyone, Happy holidays and hope everyone is having a great time.
QQ about BI. How long does it usually take for a BI to reach out after a credit pull ? Had a credit pull on 10/18, and sent over more info around the end of Nov, but its been silent since.
I assume silence is because the approach of the holidays but just wanted to know what other peoples experiences were like.

I assume silence is because the approach of the holidays but just wanted to know what other peoples experiences were like. You're in luck as that's precisely one of the reasons for this thread! Quite a few of us have included the credit pull and BI contact in our posts. According to my credit reports, the pull was on August 20th and the BI first contacted me on October 11th.

Is the “psych” evaluation called that by scheduler/recruiter? I’ve met with several people during my poly (passed) but I’m not sure if It was psych evaluation . I did not take computer personality test .

Howdy y'all! Wish you all a wonderful new year.
Its been more than 5 months since my soft credit pull and more than 6 months since I returned the eqip-forms, and I haven't yet been contacted by my BI or anyone else; nor have my references been contacted. Has this happened to someone?

It will be a DOD approved contractor, just give everyone you listed in your eqip a heads up.
