Hey good job btw getting that job. I transferred from the DOI to the DOD last year as a 2210. I miss being with the DOI alot and trying to go back now. What agency within in the DOI if you don't mind me asking you?

Yes, your career status will transfer unless you get put on probation.

Yes, your career status will transfer unless you get put on probation.


Career status is a function of federal employment; probation is a function of the agency. Consult with HR of the accepting agency to confirm the status of the probation. A new one or two year probation is not ideal.
