I've been in the pipeline since early 2017. When I went through my in-person interview, we talked through my skill set and I was made a CJO. Over the past 2 years, I've acquired additional skills and certifications. My fear is that after a favorable adjudication, there might be a handful of us competing for fewer open positions (since needs may have changed over the past 2 years) and my skill set will be less attractive on paper (even though I've since acquired additional skills). Is this a valid concern?

Is there anything that can/should be done about it, like updating my resume that is on file before billet assignment would take place? (presumably before FJO, right?) Does anyone know if the agency ties an applicant to an actual billet or if they just pool applicants until favorable adjudication?
