Activity on this board seems fairly spaced out in time, so I wanted to get an updated list of people who are still in processing. Please post where you are in a similar format as below. One data point is: Applied: Fall 2017 In Person Interview: Feb 2018 COE: Apr 2018 SF86 Submit: Apr 2018 Poly/Psych: Jun 2018 B.I. Initiation: Aug 2018 References Contacted / Last B.I. Contact: Oct 2018 Side Notes: While lots of people like to state that they've been in process for X amount of days since application, coe, etc., the only time frame that REALLY matters post-COE is when the B.I. starts, because that's when it's taken over by the security processing office and is the black hole. Contacting your POC at this point is useless, as they're not allowed to ask the security office where your clearance process is, and the security office is not allowed to tell them where it is even if they did ask. This is what leads to the blanket "you're actively processing" response. It's basically just to let you know that you haven't been denied, but any timeline they attempt to give you is nonsense (i.e. you'll receive your clearance information soon, maybe within a few months). This also applies to those of you who've gotten word about your mission center, as that's handled by a different office and has no way of foreshadowing your clearance timeline. In the format above, please use the Side Notes area to say whether you have some out of the norm circumstances (foreign spouse, dual citizenship, felonies, etc.) Show me those timelines! Second data point:
Clearance sought: Full scope TS/SCI Previous clearance: CI-only TS/SCI
Applied: March 2018 In Person Interview: April 2108 COE: April 2018 SF86 Submit: May 2018 Poly/Psych: Sept 2018 BI Initiation: Oct 2018 Last BI Contact: Dec 2018 Side Notes: Reading the posts by others here, seems like I may need to wait in to 2020. I have a number of high-risk FNCs, and had a rough poly.

I applied for the MDSO position. My timeline is the following:
Clearance sought: Full scope TS/SCI Previous clearance: Non-clearance, Public Trust SSBI
Applied - July 2016 Aptitude Test - August 2016 Interview/Info Session - November 2016 COE/SF86 - January 2017 Medical/Poly/Psych - May 2017 BI Submitted by Investigator - July 2017 Last contact with my PO: April 2019 (still "actively processing")
Side Note: I have no serious issues, especially anything relating to foreign contacts/travel/businesses, etc.

Maybe this is a good place to post this in regards to my timeline.
I interviewed for a position and received a letter two business days later stating I wasn't selected for an internship. Odd thing was, I never applied for an internship. I tried calling but all I got was "the letter appears correct, your application is closed.". I was under the impression next steps would take 1-2+ months following the interview but do denials really come that fast? My interviewers did mention that all my stuff would be going to a panel so I can't imagine my interview feedback was put together, the panel met, a decision was made for myself and the other applicants, AND HR processed the rejection in two business days! This is the government after all. I did apply a bit before my bachelors degree was completed so is it possible I got put into an internship pipeline for some odd reason?
Here is my timeline up to that point:
Applied - Aug18 Aptitude Test - Aug18 Phone Interview - Dec18 Interview/Info - Mar18
Just want to see if anyone has any experience with the process past info/interview and how long it took for moving forward/rejection letter.

My timeline is almost exactly the same as yours. But I'm curious. What is "Office Assignment." Obviously, I haven't gotten to that stage (at least not as far as I'm aware) and have no idea what that is.
