I got my FO for TCO yesterday and had to email HR to let them know I'm still waiting to hear something about RA. She gave me another to contact. I have vacation scheduled Sept 19th-27th for moving and adjusting to day shift. If the start date is Oct 15th for everyone I need to change plans. Man I dont want to show up after tomorrow lol.

I hope to get my FO soon as well. I’m moving from Milwaukee to Phoenix and need time to get there and get my daughter enrolled in school. I’m pretty much packed. Started that after I got my TO.

Congrats!!

What POD? Did you receive an email notification?

Thanks

Pennsylvania pod. Yes, email notification. Glad this forum exists and was pretty helpful on this seemingly long journey since FEBRUARY. Thanks to anyone who posted about the RA and TCO;I probably read your post. Just wish I didn't choose such a lame handle. Lol.

Thank you! Your handle is fine, though it can be changed through your user profile.

Congratulations! Will you initially report to your POD? Did they tell
You where your training will be? I wonder if EO and EP will start at the same time and go to the same training? I am still waiting on an email for my fingerprints.

Thanks, yes, initially report to pod. No indication of training location. Best of luck to anyone holding out for TCO or RA!

Did you have any luck with the email on the application? My status has been showing selected for over a week. Still waiting for the TO. I emailed the interviewing manager to see if he has any information about the offer or start date. No response yet.

tllm, have you received your TO yet? Ever get a response from your interviewing manager? Hope we get our TOs soon.

Agreed! I want to give my office as much notice as possible... they've been very good to me and I feel awful about leaving, but I also know I can't turn down this offer!

Also- for whoever was asking above about a step increase- I was told to e-mail my HR contact my two most recent paystubs and a short paragraph explaining why I was requesting the increase (i.e. I'd be taking a paycut if I accepted the step they offered).

Would be nice to have a start date, would make it easier having a move in date when searching for apartments.

I’m lucky enough to be moving in with my friend but I have to get my child registered for school and I would like to get there early enough to do that.

No TO yet. Also, no response from the interviewing manager. Haven't heard anything about the position since I noticed my status changed to Selected.

Hi all,

I applied for multiple RA positions mostly for GS11 & 13. I applied for TEGE, LB&I and SBSE. I ranked as a Cat A and interviewed for only 2 of these position so far. I was wondering what would be the case if someone gets an offer for say TEGE and accepts the offer and starts employment then a few months later ( or weeks) they hear back from the other positions they applied for (either to interview or with job offers) can they switch groups/take the interview and then switch groups if an offer comes? or is that not allowed, I am very curious. Any informations helps.

Thanks!

It seems like the lack of HR activity regarding TEGE positions all points to a wait-and-see attitude with regard to the passage of a continuing resolution by 9/30. Does anyone have any information on this?

Update: received my TO on 8/27. Fingerprinted on 9/11. Still waiting for FO.

Edit to add: EO. Very short turnaround from changing to "Selected" and getting my TO (I think two business days?)

How many days were there between your status changing to "Selected" and your TO?
