I'm trying to figure out if OWCP FECA will cover stem cell treatments for chronic pain associated with accepted orthopedic conditions in my arms. Does anyone know anything about this? They did actually cover some platelet rich plasma injections for me 8 years ago and from what I'm reading, a lot of insurance companies still won't cover that procedure and consider it still investigational. When I had that done I did have to have the treating provider argue some to get them to cover it, but they did cover it. I've tried googling about any policies on coverage for this and can't find anything, so thought someone on here might have tried to get it covered?
