I am basically wondering what exactly is checked for public trust.

I write anonymously on forums for various reasons. Is this checked for a public trust position?

I write anonymously related to anxiety sometimes which I am in treatment for. I'd like to know if I need to be prepared to explain.

Hi Anonymous33,

I think there are two forms you filled out one requires a seven year history, while the second a OPM goes back 5 years. I think you are asking about anxiety, and if you read this forum there are several other people who post that getting treatment or seeking treatment for anxiety is not a problem or reason for concern.

If my memory serves me correctly, you will might have to disclose any medical treatment from a mental health care professional.

Again, I would not be concern about this issue, so relax and fill out the application truthfully and you should be okay.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
