Description
The Los Angeles District is accepting reassignment requests for a FULL-TIME REGULAR CUSTOMER CARE AGENT - TIER 1, LEVEL 06 for the LOS ANGELES(CA) POST OFC - INS.
This position has 40 Hours per week.
The schedule for this position is 0900-1730-30L.
The Non-Scheduled days are Sat/Sun.
This position has the following special requirements:

I'm looking to transfer to an office in Los Angeles, but I am having a hard time figuring out where specifically these job postings on ereassign are. Los Angeles is huge with dozens of post offices, so LOS ANGELES (CA) POST OFC - INS does not give me any idea where the actual job is. How do I figure out where the specific office for this job is? I don't see a phone number to call. Also, what is a customer care agent?

if you get excepted they will tell you which office/station. You can always decline

As far as what does a customer care agent do... It's a call center... "Trying to track a package? Need to schedule a redelivery? You can do both at USPS.com. But if you prefer to get the information by phone, or you have a more complex issue that you need to discuss, you are not alone. In fiscal year (FY) 2017, more than 60 million people called 1-800-ASK-USPS or other postal customer service numbers. The majority used the automated system to seek information, but 19 million callers attempted to speak to a customer service agent. Of those, only 11.5 million successfully reached one, waiting on average more than 13 minutes." Like many multiple office instalations, take the job offered and keep an eye on the bid board for an opening in the area you want.

I was having the same issue with different requests. If you get an email from the complement specialist, check their email “signature,” it may have their info: phone, fax, etc. including the address of the office they are working from. But thats just an idea of one of the stations you could be working at, I guess.
