DEA
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is a federal law enforcement agency under the United States Department of Justice, tasked with combating drug smuggling and use within the United States. Not only is the DEA the lead agency for domestic enforcement of the drug policy of the United States sharing concurrent jurisdiction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, it also has sole responsibility for coordinating and pursuing U.S. drug investigations abroad.

I tested today with PSI. I have never scheduled with them before and their starting procedure was...different...to say the least. Anyways, anyone else have anything they can share about this opening? I saw the other DI topic on this but clicking on it "diverted" ;P me to the BRAC page (???) so I've started a new topic here.

Seems this is not a popular topic. Anyone have any advice on the panel interview?
Also, is there locality pay for this career? I dont see how one can live off 40k in a large city. I can't find any info on pay scales. I applied as gs9.

I applied intel, but check out this guide for an idea on how diversion does interviews. https://www.dea.gov/site...paration%20GuideCOMP.pdfAnd yes, there is locality pay applied to where you are assigned. Your best resource for that will be OPM. Not sure how fast diversion promotes, but for intel you advance from GS-5, 7, 9, 11, 12 after each year on duty, and from 12 to 13 in two years. https://www.opm.gov/poli...s/2020/general-schedule/
