Does anyone know how long the DMA takes to review your case and send it back to your CE when it comes to a schedule award???? My CE told me that he should have had it back last week but I have yet to hear anything.

Can be specific to the OWCP office you are dealing with. Larger OWCP offices, such as Jacksonville and San Francisco, actually have several specialists that they use for these reviews and the time involved may be somewhat specific to the contract doctor doing the review. Sometimes these doctors suggest that additional info be obtained as well, which can delay the process even further.

But, even if the review if back and no further development is needed, the CE has to set up the payment, get it certified by a senior claims examiner or supervisor, etc. and then issue the award letter. So, if your CE thought the review would be back in a week, it could still be three or four weeks before you get your decision or notice that additional info is needed.

Im dealing with the OWCP office in Cleveland Ohio. My CE told me last week that DMA wanted him to send the report back to the second opinion doctor because they had alot of questions for him regarding my report. He said its all to my benefit but it could take up to another 45 days. Its hard for me to believe him because he has lied to me several times before and mistakenly sent me the wrong letters regarding my case countless times.
