DHS
The Department of Homeland Security has a vital mission: to secure the nation from the many threats we face. This requires the dedication of more than 230,000 employees in jobs that range from aviation and border security to emergency response, from cybersecurity analyst to chemical facility inspector. [Their] duties are wide-ranging, but [their] goal is clear: keeping America safe. (source: www.dhs.gov)

I checked the candidate dashboard today and saw a checkmark above 'Selection Decision,' which according to the description means a candidate has been selected from a cert of eligibles. OK, great. I check an hour later and the process moved to 'Offer Review' and instead of a star (*) which denotes it's in process I see a 'D," which means the candidate has declined. I was never contacted after my interview, no ref checks or anything, so I'm puzzled.
I emailed the general HR email and am awaiting a reply, but I wanted to know if anyone else has had this happen and if it worked out well in the end. It seems so strange.
