Hello,
I am considering Civilian federal employment with the Office of the Secretary of the Army. It's going to be a full-time position. I currently have a part-time contract position with another Army component unrelated to the new position. I have had this position for many years. Does the Army have one uniform policy on outside employments or each army component has its own rules? The new position and current part-time position won't have any conflicts of hours or contacts.

Thanks for our input.

You will need to talk to the new full time supervisor about outside employment, and potentially the ethics folks in the new job, to ensure there is no conflict.
