I have been told by the supervisor that the 8 hour guarantee for full time city carriers does not apply to FT-CC working Sunday(delivering amazon pkgs). The supervisor is asking to volunteers to help deliver amazon Sunday pkgs along with the retired carrier that agreed to work delivering pkgs. I thought that Sunday was a NS day and qualified for the 8 hour guarantee. Does the 8 hour guarantee apply for a full time city carrier delivering amazon pkgs on Sunday?

Yes you are guaranteed 8 hours whenever you clock in. Whether it is a regular weekday or sunday, it doesn't make a difference. Speak to your shop steward

If you want the manager to remember the rule (or remember that you know the rule), work 4 or 5 hours and then force them to pay you for 8.

just make sure it is not you asking to leave but management making the decision.
