I highly doubt you ran 3.5 in under 16 mins lol. A fast mile in anyone’s book is 7 minutes mand what you’re claiming is sub 5 minutes. I'm going to guess that was a typo.

3.5 miles in 15:35? Thats a mile pace of 4:27. I call BS

No BS,

I have been doing the, “ eliud kipchoge challenge”.
Of course I am not nowhere near that level.

But yes, my first mile was a sub 5minute.

Watch this YouTube video (he has a lot of running videos).

See my reply to FBItoHRT :)

Been training like this for about a month after my long break of doing PT.

And yes, the shoes are that good. My heart rate was not as elevated as when I use my vaporfly a.

15:35 is only about a minute off from the 5k world record pace....

5k WR is 12:37, which is like 14:15 if you stretch it to 3.5 miles, if I’m doing the math right....

A month ago you were considering quitting to avoid the PFT and when you took a practice one posted a pace of 8 min/mile for 1.5 miles. You're saying that in a month of training and thanks to a new pair of shoes you have single handedly managed to shave off 3.5 minutes/mile and go for 3.5 miles?

Hey listen I'm going to assume that your a honest person and have nothing to gain from exaggerating run times to strangers on the internet haha. Nice run time.

Any update for anyone as far as processing steps?

When I was training I was doing the sit ups, push ups, 300m sprint, and the 1.5.

I haven’t been doing the same routine, I have been swimming and doing the eliud kipchoge challenge.

Today I ran after a 2 day break.

Yes a month ago I was thinking about quitting (self-doubt). I just built a new house, a promotion at work, and have a new born.

When I was in the army, I would run my 2 miles in 10 minutes...I have always been fit, just hit a little wall with everything going on.

I feel motivated and I have been training hard to make up for loss time :).

The guy on YouTube that I sent earlier is a marathon runner who runs a 3miler in way less of a time.

I don’t need to lie, I am just trying to motivate people.
I read my garmin, I run the same trail and it is measured out.....whether it’s off, idk, but I’m stating what my watch showed.

You go from 4:26 miles x3 "not pushing yourself" to 8min mile x1.5 just because you add in a sprint?

Don't think I've posted this yet, but I'm scheduled for an in-person M&G next week (my second one, haha). I was expecting a virtual one, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it's in-person. It was explicitly stated that masks are required.

Might be a good indicator that other in-person stuff will resume soon.
