Does anyone know if the COVID hiring freeze/HR shutdown has been lifted? If so, will they still look at applications they got at the beginning of the shutdown or should we just reapply?

I applied back in the beginning of February this year, didn't hear back. Waited about 2 weeks after the 100 day mark then went ahead and reapply.

Has anyone gotten an EOD since March? Or even a call that you are "still processing"?

Not an EOD or a call, but I did have my BI start this month. Not sure if that means CIA is processing files again or if DCSA is just making it through their own backlog.

I feel like my process is only beginning...more than a year after COE.

Hey folks~

First time posting. I recently submitted an online app and then received instructions for an assessment. Took about two weeks which seemed quick. Perhaps a sign that things will move forward for everyone else as well? Just wanted to encourage everyone!

That's great. Was it a STEM position? I haven't heard anything, I put in my second application for a stem position, haven't heard anything.

Not STEM.

I know the process is a long one and COVID probably brought things to a near halt. A lot of agencies are starting to move regularly again from what I’ve heard.

Compared to the other agencies on these forums, this one seems to be behind in getting back up to speed. Still, as they keep saying "No news is good news."

Does anyone know if the 45-day timeframe after online testing is still valid? I'm at just over 60 since testing and have heard nothing so wonder if that means it's over.
Thanks in advance and good luck to all!

No, it doesn't mean that it is over. Sometimes it takes a while even before COVID for each of the steps.

If you were scheduled to come in for Psych/Eval and additional testing after March but it got cancelled due to COVID, I was told that you would receive an invitation again later on this year. Not sure about those who didn't interview/receive COE.

I am past all of that. I am in adjudication. I just was curious if anyone is getting EODs. Probably just operations personnel.

Over on the NSA forum people are reporting EOD's. I know it is not the same agency, but it is indicative of progress somewhere :)

Per their website, it seems to be ok to reapply...

"... if you have not heard back from us within 100 days, please feel free to reapply at a later date."

The end of this month will be my third time reapplying, lol. Haven't heard anything. I attended the virtual IC event the other day and they were the only agency I think that weren't in attendance. This agency is behind big time it seems.

Their problem is they receive thousands of well-qualified candidates and have the luxury of being picky. Most succesful candidates have reported been contacted initially within a week of application.

Applied in late June, surprisingly got a response back in less than three weeks. Submitted my online testing, writing samples, and other admin documents two days after they got back to me and have been waiting ever since. Hopefully I won't be forgotten :D

I guess you must be one of the candidates they are looking for!

Good luck and try not to get too stressed out during what is likely to be a long process... but you never know.
