Original accepted back injury 2016. Incident in 2018 caused a flare up COP covered it. Several flare ups in 2019 most I used sick leave to cover (about 3 weeks). Because of the persistent decline of my condition I went out of work totally at the end of August had an steroid injection(approved by dol),limited duty until going back full time in november (surprising the shot worked). I filed ca7's for time missed and ca7a's for intermittent time missed. Received notice from DOL that more was needed for them to decide. I provided the asked for information by the end of November and have not been compensated, or notified of a decision. I beleive the website says " developed ".

Are there timely rules the dol must adhere to?

I was going to convert time to sick leave rather than fight with the dol however I am on the verge of another shot and or permanent limited duty so I feel I need to see this through.

There are some internal rules within OWCP for timely processing of CA-7's but they mostly pertain to the 80% that are deemed immediately payable and it looks like the CE did not think your case was immediately payable.

Given that it is now February, I think I would "nag" your CE with a phone call asking for the status and if that does not work or the CE :blows you off', try your Congressman/woman.
