Hello, I was wondering if the pension system still exist for those who are considering first-time employment with the federal government at NIST? It looks like there exists a 401k-like Thrift Savings Plan, but it was unclear whether a pension plan still exists for incoming new employees to the agency. Many thanks for any insights/feedback.

The Trump administration is working on all sorts of big benefit changes for Federal Employees, but they couldn't have eliminated the Pension yet?
