A few questions...

If you are administratively furlough does the time furloughed count towards probation? I know shut down does but does administrative?

If you are full time permanent but there are full time seasonal employees do the perm employees stay on if there is a admin furlough? Ie does perm conversion help you avoid a furlough beside govt shutdown?

Does being administratively furloughed still count for time in grade like shut down furlough does?

Thank you!

If there are furloughs there are priorities based on need and funding sources.

Usually permanent have priority over term or temps.

For example say yo have a position in seasonal law enforcement where you work during peak summer season you might not be furloughed. Nut at the same park you are an interpretive ranger who works visitor center and conduct tours you probably are furloughed.

In job description some are also designated as mission essential so not fuloughed.
