We’re on the deathbed regardless of this situation. Hence why I hate people milking their routes for OT and lazy workers who don’t deserve their job. People here are short sighted. Milking the company for everything they have right now but long term they are hurting their self and everyone else.

Personally, I try to give a little extra to help my boss get a bonus. He deserves it because he is the smartest person ever and was also the best carrier ever.

It's a shill article by Politico and Business Insider. Probably fed to the by Maloney and Connolly, who are hitting up the Postal unions for donations in front of re-election.

Now, tell me what Federal Agency stops working when they "run out of money".

The national debt is TRILLIONS. EVERY agency is technically out of money.

IT DOESN'T MATTER.
We decide which is right; and which is an illusion. I've got blisters on me fingers!

how do you figure??

ever since the postal reorganization act of 1971 postal management has been crying the same thing.

do some research before you run your pie hole or admit you are a supervisor.

the post office has nearly 500,000 employees if all of them are as you say the place would have collapsed long ago.
https://facts.usps.com/size-and-scope/

do you know anything about the postal strike 50 years ago??

the national guard was brought into try to do our jobs and they could only sack up the mail and send it to offices that did not go on strike.

every time you open your pie hole you show how ignorant you are.

Have tax payers bail us out when we always proudly admit we don't work off tax dollars?

That Nancy is a loon

How about putting in the bill of anything, " effective immediately USPS will no longer prefund for the worker not born yet"

Does not add any pork to The loons bill.

I'll say it again. Whatever we "owe" is a line in a digital ledger somewhere, along with Social Security and Medicare. Which both have future liabilities in the TRILLIONS.

What is the Treasury gonna do? Send IRS agents to every office to shake us down for our lunch money?

Decades ago, the saying was, "A million here, a million there, pretty soon you're talking REAL MONEY".

Later, it became a BILLION here, a BILLION there . . .

Today it's TRILLIONS.

I can't wait for the first proposed QUADRILLION-dollar legislation. By then, maybe they'll just shorten it to "quadloos".
We decide which is right; and which is an illusion. I've got blisters on me fingers!

To early to tell if bailout is in the Senate bill that appears to be heading toward the House now. But previous bill did have something to help out USPS, so suspect it is still in it.

Still . . . even with that, I'm thinking big changes are coming for new fiscal year. More restructuring to come.
And firmly believe we will not shutter. We are an essential business. Very notable now that Coronavirus is with us right now.
