How to leverage placement on the Priority Consideration list? Due to errors in the internal hiring process I am now on the Priority Consideration list. The concern is every other internal candidate is on the list also. The footwork to highlight the issue was mine and mine alone but now every other internal candidate benefits (equally, or so it would appear). The "errors" were egregious and so management is exploring options to limit the opportunity to further highlight the issue. No issues with internal opportunities to interview, but the hiring managers are in another location and have little interest in employees in the remote locations. Does the opportunity exist to increase the number of opportunities for the individuals on the Priority Consideration list? Little value in the list if the hiring managers simply don't post opportunities in the location. Ironically, the original positions were specifically intended to provide opportunities for the remote geographic locations but the hiring manager thought otherwise.
