Do we expect to get newsletters at the start of September?

Hi everyone! This is actually my 1st time posting here.

My timeline so far for ACF:

March/Apr 2020: Applied
May 2020: Submitted writing sample
Aug 2020: Interview
Aug 6 2020: CJO sent & accepted

I haven't heard anything else back yet re drug testing or BI. I actually already have a TS/SCI clearance (less than 1 year old) but no poly, so I'm not sure how this will help in the process?

I'm also wondering when we will hear about newsletters

My timeline is the same, and I am in the same situation as you (clearance but no poly). I haven't heard anything back yet either regarding the drug test.

So it turns out that they've been calling my work phone to schedule the drug test...I'm doing 2 week rotations on and 2 weeks teleworking, so it happened to fall on days that I was teleworking.

1st call was Aug 19th, 2nd/3rd calls were on the 26th and 27th.

I'm slated to do the test this week.

How did you get in contact with them? They might have been doing the same when I’ve been working.

They left a number for me to call back. If you put down a work number, I'd check your voicemail. I asked to have my cell as my POC moving forward, but we'll see.

My timeline :

September 2019: Applied
October 2019: Writing Sample
February 2020: Interview and CJO
April - June: BI started and concluded (I think)
August 2020: Psych Eval and Poly

I believe I'm in ajudication right now, but who knows how long that will take. Anyone got any ideas?

Hope you're all doing well.

Lol, I've been trying to get into DoS since I went back to college and you're trying to get out. Good luck.

First there's the wait for adjudication, which in some cases goes very quickly, in others not so fast, with no clear reason why. And then you wait for the final job offer which in some cases can take a very long time.

Used to be folks in the Analysis career field usually got offers pretty quickly, but I don't know if that is still the case with all the COVID impact to everything.

My adjudication took about 1.5 years. My final job offer is going on 1 year. That’s not even the whole process, so yeah you can imagine how long the whole hiring process takes.

Jesus, that's a while. Did you have a clearance before? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what was your CJO for?

Since I was recently in the position as all of you wondering and waiting to hear back I'll give my timeline. I was already a DOD Civilian so I do not know if that made a difference. I do not think it did since I was working as an EE before and went to the ACF Event.

ACF Hiring Event 6/2019
COE GS-9 7/2019
Poly 8/2019
Adjudication & Placed in hiring pool 10/2019
FJO given GS 11 - 12/2019 with a start date of 4/2020
FJO signed - 9/2020

The long wait between the FJO signing was due to me requesting a later start date and Covid stopping everything for some time.
