Social Security Administration

The Social Security Administration (SSA) is an independent agency of the United States federal government that administers Social Security, a social insurance program consisting of retirement, disability, and survivors' benefits. To qualify for these benefits, most American workers pay Social Security taxes on their earnings; future benefits are based on the employees' contributions. (Source: Wikipedia)

Hi everyone,

Considering a teleservice center position in the future and hoping to get a good idea from current or past teleservice center employees on their thoughts. I like the idea of the position being focused on the phone call, currently I feel like I have so much to do I am multitasking through all my calls in the FO.

Auburn teleservice center would be my first choice because of the location. Any current or past employees have any feedback on working there?

- How were the hours? I know the position hard strange hours, 10:30-7. Was this a big issue? Can you come in early and then leave later with flex time? Are alternative work schedules allowed so you can have every other Friday or Monday off? Are credit and/or overtime available?

- How is the workload? Of course heavy on calls, but other things on top of that? Anything that suprised you about the job?

- How do you like working in the Auburn area?

Thank you so much in advance!
