Congratulations! When you say “updated to GS-09” what do you mean? I also have a master’s degree and all of the positions they’ve emailed me about were for GS7 Originally Posted by: Juju1919 After a year, I finally got my FO! I'm headed to DC. @Midwest2NYC I was able to get it updated to GS-09.

Can anyone shed any light of the salary expectations of the final job offers for the CHI? Is the final job offers given at GS 7/9 Step 1? Are there any additional pay bumps aside from the base General Schedule?

@eric00788 You're not an employee after being approved for hire. Only internal employees can apply to "current FBI employee" postings. You can only apply to positions posted with "All US Citizens".

Nothing here recently. Still just waiting. You should never expect FBI to knock on your door with FJO. Instead you have to reach out to the POC from your CJO and asked for the FJO. And also do not fall for the “Approve for Hire“ tab, its just system generated and no one care, including me. I was just saying that I have not received a FJO yet, not that I have just been waiting and haven't reached out to or talked to anyone. I definitely agree that you need to reach out to your contacts and not sit around just expecting to be contacted, but I disagree with your assessment of the Approved for Hire profile. I have had contact from field offices that were on my approved for hire location list. It may not have mattered for your hiring process, but that doesn't mean the same is true for everyone else.

How do I even find out who my PoC is? Been in the BI process since the end of July but haven't heard anything since an investigator contacted me back in August (had a date change in November but no idea what for). I contacted HR and they couldn't point me to anyone and there's no specific PoC in any information I've looked at.

Or do you recall who you met with during the DT/FP? That person was my POC Edited by user Monday, January 17, 2022 9:27:53 AM(UTC)

I only met with one person to do the urinalysis/fingerprints but when I asked him questions recently, he didn't seem to be able to help much.

Does anyone have a timeframe of how long it took from interview to background completion? I haven’t heard anything since September when investigators were calling.
