I was fortunate enough to get to go to interview in Washington before COVID-19 hit. (IMST)

Anyone receive their clearance lately? Are they still moving?

Even though I have a DoD TS unfortunately it wasn't new enough for them to accept it, so had to start over.

Here's my timeline:

eQIP submitted (27FEB20)
clearance packet complete email received (22MAY20)
face to face interview with investigator (24JUL20)
more calls/emails for clarification + additional reference (31JUL20)
asked for update, boilerplate reply that it's being worked (04SEP20)

I have 9 months left overseas so I hope it gets done. Hate to head back to the States and get moved and then move again.

Yep that sounds about right for State.

At least they didn't tell you wait til you got back to the USA to start your application.

Some other folks have reported that their State Dept processing has slowed way down. I don't know if they have fully returned to work yet.

They are moving, albeit slowly. I'm up for a Secret here in DC, and have a super boring background. Still expecting the interim clearance alone to take 3-6 months, and the full clearance to take 9-12 months. TS most likely will be longer for the full (12+ months). Timing info I have been getting from my would-be Department Chief. Did you opt-in for an interim clearance?

If you're on reddit, send me your username, and I can add you to a group chat of 10+ of us going through the clearance process (mix of TS and Secret across various bureaus). Unless you're already part of the group haha!
