P.S. Stormy Weather, your mailbox is full! Congratulations! I wonder if we will be getting our final offer letters around the same time even if we're in different classes. It won't feel real to me until I receive it haha Just cleared my inbox, thanks for letting me know. |

P.S. Stormy Weather, your mailbox is full! Brick, that is what I was told, too! Though I am IA, not SA. I was told I could expect to get official notice of a class date around the end of June.

I was told "it would be a quick turnaround" due to only needing a personal statement, but I guess that means days/weeks in FBI speak! LOL Edited by user Wednesday, May 5, 2021 8:20:49 AM(UTC)

Interested to hear for those headed in June or August (or any other time) what additional things they packed with them to Q. Here's the suggested packing list on the FBI site: https://www.fbi.gov/file...-new-agent-trainees/viewI recently bought a pair of brown 5.11 A/T non-zip boots that I've been breaking in and like a lot...

Hi All,
Recently started my application and had some questions for the group:
1. I passed my phase 1 exam and need to schedule a M&G. However, the portal says there are no appointments available at this time. It has stated that for the last 2 weeks. Has anyone else been having similar scheduling issues? For those who have gone through this process, is this just normal, and I need to check everyday?
2. I see many people talking about their AC, what phase do these get assigned for people? I just wanted to make sure I’m not supposed to be calling my local office to get that assignment AND schedule the meet and greet. :-)
3. Broader question, does anyone have some idea on how the foreign language is valued for the application and job assignment? More specifically, do you happen to know if the FBI only cares if you are fluent in a language? For example, I am a rusty, intermediate Spanish speaker and was considering ‘buffing’ up my fluency for this application but wasn’t sure if it would matter if I couldn’t achieve a certain level of mastery.
Thanks for any and all input!

Your own blanket and pillow, a fan, NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES (you'll have a roommate...), an airtight container to store snacks. Computer/iPad.. you'll have a lot of free time those first 2 weeks, so streaming what you actually like to watch is a must! Edited by user Wednesday, May 5, 2021 10:15:22 AM(UTC)
